Tippi Polo is a Hispanic-American artist born and raised in Tampa, Florida. Tippi primarily uses paper, textiles, and wax to explore childhood memories, family narratives, superstition, and cultural lore. She is particularly interested in oral traditions and tactile means of capturing the more ephemeral aspects of culture and personality.

Tippi resides with her husband and her honorary stepson in Dallas, Texas. She currently serves as Coordinator of the Meadows Division of Art at Southern Methodist University.
