Post-It: An Exhibition Inspired by The Art of the Postcard
Three of my pieces have been selected for inclusion in the Post-It show in Northport, NY. Two of the pieces are made with a gouache resist technique, which I only recently learned. Basically, you paint an image in gouache and then you paint over it with India ink. You wash the ink off and some of it remains in areas not covered by the gouache. The result looks a bit like a print. All of the pieces are embellished with acrylic and color pencil. One of the three has collage elements. Many thanks to the Firefly Artists that made this exhibition possible. It runs from 2025.11.5 - 2025.12.05.
